Updated:2008-06-06 17:12 | Source:

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) will apply new policies for press accommodation requests and changes to Check-in and Check-out dates after 1 June 2008, as follows:

New accommodation requests will be managed directly by the media hotels/Villages. BOCOG will help to facilitate contact between news organizations and media hotels, but will not process contracts or payments with news organizations for new accommodation requests.

News organizations that have signed the Accommodation Allocation Agreement (AAA) with BOCOG will not be permitted to reduce the number of reserved accommodation days.

For Media Hotel reservations, news organizations must contact the hotels directly if changes are required to check-in/check-out dates. Any payment issues must also be discussed directly with media hotels. BOCOG will not update the signed AAA contracts, nor solve related payment problems.

For Media Village reservations, news organizations must contact the Villages directly if changes are required to check-in/check-out dates after 1 June 2008. You can solve any issues directly when you check in at Media Villages. All Media Villages open on 25 July 2008.
