  Which payment methods are accepted?

Visa card, Bank of China savings account, and cash are the three acceptable payment methods. Please refer to Phase 3 Payment Instructions for further details.

"Pay Online" and "Pay Offline": what do these two options exactly mean when submitting my ticket orders on this website?

By choosing "Pay Online", an online user agrees to make an immediate Visa payment along with the order submission.

By choosing "Pay Offline", an online user agrees to submit the ticket order first, and then pay the balance before the specified payment deadline at any participating Bank of China outlet and pay with Visa card, BOC savings account or cash. Ticket orders with an over-due balance will be cancelled.

Can I settle my order balance in installments?

No. The balance has to be paid at once.

Where can I apply for a Visa card?

Please contact your bank or Bank of China to find out if they provide this service.

Why is Visa the only card accepted for the Olympic and Paralympic Games ticket sales?

As a worldwide Olympic partner, Visa has been the exclusive payment card and the official payment service of the Olympic Games since 1986 and will continue its sponsorship through 2012, including the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

For the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa will be the only card accepted at all Olympic Games venues for any official Olympic-related transactions, including all Olympic-related payment acceptance channels, such as ticket purchase, Point of Sale and ATMs.

Can I use my Visa card or my Bank of China savings account to pay for someone else's ticket order?

No. You must make sure the name, ID type and ID number on your purchasing orders are consistent with those of your Visa card or Bank of China savings account.

  Expiration Date

The expiration date is found on the front of a Visa Card, which is the last valid date by which the card can be used. The format is MM/YY.

  CVV2

These 3 digits should appear on the back of the Visa card, found in the white area OR directly on the signature panel and may be accompanied with all or the last 4 digits of the Visa account number.
